Cajun Parmesan Salmon

Spice up your dinner with this Cajun Parmesan Salmon recipe!

INGREDIENTS

  • Ocean Chef Atlantic Salmon Portions
  • Cajun Seasoning
  • Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Butter
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Vegetable Stock
  • Lemon Juice
  • Honey
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Lemon Slices

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove thawed salmon portions from packaging and lay on a board
  2. Season salmon portions with cajun seasoning and black pepper
  3. Preheat a non-stick fry pan to a medium heat, adding 5mL olive oil, if desired
  4. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes turning occasionally. Ensure salmon is cooked all the way through or until piping hot in centre
  5. Remove salmon portions to rest
  6. In the same pan add butter, minced fresh garlic and stir until butter melts
  7. Add vegetable stock, lemon juice and honey and continue to stir
  8. Add cajun seasoning, roughly chopped fresh parsley, parmesan, continuing to stir
  9. Place cooked salmon portions back into the pan and add a few lemon slices and cook until salmon portions are piping hot again
  10. Plate and serve!
